Introduction
Aroon Up is a bullish momentum indicator that measures how recently the highest high occurred within a lookback period. How Aroon Up (14) Works
Aroon Up was developed by Tushar Chande to measure how long it has been since the highest high within a specified period (14 periods). The calculation is: Aroon Up = ((n - periods since highest high) / n) Γ 100. Values range from 0 to 100, where 100 indicates a new high was just made, and 0 indicates the high occurred at the beginning of the lookback period.
